Getting Started with Diary.Club – Here’s How It Works:

After signing in with two-factor authentication, you’ll land on the home screen. There, you can explore what other users have published — real journals, shared memories, and inspiring moments.

Next, set up your profile: - Choose whether your profile is private or public, pick a nickname or real name, upload a profile picture, write something about yourself, add a link, and optionally share your location. - Use the plus button in the bottom-left diamond to create your first timeline: Add a title, choose a cover image, and write a short description. Then set it to public or private — and you're good to go!

Before saving, you can use the search function (magnifying glass) to find friends and invite them to read or co-write with you. They’ll get a notification (bell icon) — and once they click the friendship icon, they’re linked to your timeline. - If your friends click the three dots (top right) in the timeline, they can enable co-writing. That’s where the fun begins!

On the home screen, the arrow to the right brings you to your personal chronicle — a combined, private view of all your timelines. - Want to get inspired? Tap “Open Diaries” to browse what others have shared.

Dein Einstieg bei Diary.Club – so funktioniert's:

Nach der Anmeldung per Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung landest du direkt auf der Startseite. Dort kannst du entdecken, was andere Nutzer*innen im Club veröffentlicht haben – echte Tagebücher, persönliche Momente, Erinnerungen. Als Nächstes geht’s zu deinem Profil: Du entscheidest, ob du lieber privat oder öffentlich unterwegs bist. Du kannst einen Alias oder deinen echten Namen verwenden, ein Profilbild hochladen, etwas über dich erzählen, einen Link setzen und optional deinen Standort teilen.

Mit dem Plus-Button in der Raute (unten links) erstellst du deine erste Timeline: Gib ihr einen Titel, wähle ein Titelbild und schreibe eine kurze Beschreibung. Dann entscheidest du, ob sie privat oder öffentlich sein soll – und schon kann’s losgehen!

Bevor du speicherst, kannst du direkt Freunde suchen (über das Lupen-Symbol) und sie zum Mitlesen oder Mitschreiben einladen. Die eingeladenen Nutzer*innen bekommen eine Benachrichtigung (Glocke) – und wenn sie auf das Freundschafts-Symbol klicken, sind sie mit deiner Timeline verbunden.

Deine Freunde können nun in deiner Timeline mitschreiben, wenn sie oben rechts auf die drei Punkte klicken und die Funktion aktivieren – so entsteht echtes Gemeinschaftstagebuch-Feeling. Das macht Spaß und verbindet!

Auf der Startseite bringt dich der Pfeil nach rechts zu deiner persönlichen Chronik: Hier werden alle deine Timelines zusammengeführt – nur du kannst sie sehen.
